Terms of use
Last updated: October 2026
By downloading or using the K€T4M1N client, the cloud service or this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
1. Not affiliated with Mojang
K€T4M1N is an independent project. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. “Minecraft” is a trademark of Mojang Studios. You need your own copy of Minecraft to use the client, and you remain bound by the Minecraft EULA and by the rules of every server you join.
2. Your responsibility on servers
Many multiplayer servers prohibit certain client modifications and may ban accounts that use them. Cosmetics, emotes and social features are visual, but individual modules may break a server's rules. You decide where and how to use the client and you accept the consequences, including bans issued by third-party servers.
3. The software
The client is provided free of charge, “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it is error-free, always available or compatible with every launcher, mod or server. Updates are signed and installed with your consent; we may change or remove features at any time.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not harass, threaten, impersonate or spam other players, including through direct messages, party invites or reports.
- Do not manipulate statistics, quests, leaderboards or invites — for example by sending fabricated reports, farming alternate accounts or exploiting bugs. Report bugs instead.
- Do not attack, overload or probe the cloud service, reverse-engineer its authentication or publish exploits for it.
- Do not upload unlawful, hateful, sexual or otherwise harmful content, including in config names.
- Do not claim names to block other players, do not try to take over somebody else's account or device key, and do not create offline accounts in bulk.
- Do not redistribute modified copies of the client under our name, or resell it.
5. Virtual items, coins and purchases
Coins, cosmetics, looks, badges and other items are virtual, have no cash value, and cannot be sold, traded or transferred. They are licensed to you for use inside K€T4M1N, not owned. We may rebalance prices, rotate the shop and retire items. Items obtained through exploits or abuse may be removed.
Buying coins. Coins can be earned by playing or bought with real money on the website. Payment is made on the page of our payment provider; we never see your card details. Coins are credited when the provider confirms the payment, usually within seconds, and are delivered to your account at once. Prices are shown in the currency of the checkout and include taxes where the law requires.
Age. You must be 18 or older, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to buy coins. There is a daily purchase limit per account. If you are a parent and a purchase was made without your permission, contact us with the order number and we will review it.
Right of withdrawal. Coins are digital content delivered immediately. By ticking the box at checkout you ask us to deliver them at once and acknowledge that you lose your statutory right to withdraw from the purchase once they are delivered. Mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived stay untouched. If a payment is refunded or disputed with the provider, the coins from that order are taken back, and we may suspend an account until the matter is settled.
Cases. A case gives one random item from a published list. The chance of every item is shown before you open it; the result is decided by the server with a secure random number, the same for every player, and is not influenced by what you have spent. Opening several cases at once costs less per case. Every paid case guarantees an Epic or better item after a published number of openings without one, and a Legendary or better after a longer run. A duplicate is paid back in coins at the published rate. Items from cases have no cash value and cannot be traded or sold. Seasonal cases can be opened only while their event runs.
6. Moderation
Moderators may warn, mute or ban accounts from the cloud service, remove content, and hide accounts from leaderboards when these terms are broken or the community is at risk. Sanctions can be temporary or permanent. You can appeal through the contact channel below.
7. Third-party services
The service relies on Mojang's authentication servers, public avatar services and, if you choose to link it, Discord. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to those parts.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the operators of K€T4M1N are not liable for lost progress, bans on third-party servers, interruptions of the service or any indirect damage arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest change and significant changes are announced in the news section. You may stop using K€T4M1N at any time and uninstall it with the installer. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, at any time.
10. Privacy
How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.
