One small installer sets everything up. It finds your launchers, creates a Minecraft 1.8.9 profile in each one you tick, and you are ready to play. Updates install themselves from inside the game. Windows 10 / 11 only.

Open the file you downloaded. Your browser or Windows may warn about an unrecognised publisher — that is expected for a new, unsigned app. Choose “Run anyway”.
Tick the launchers you use. Close TLauncher first if you use it. For “guided” launchers the installer shows the one Java argument to paste. It can repair or remove everything later.
Start the “K€T4M1N 1.8.9” profile. Press H in game to open the Hub and Right Shift for the module menu.
Every core update is signed with a private key that never touches the server. The loader in your game only runs code whose signature matches the public key built into it — even a hacked update server cannot push malicious code.
The installer's SHA-256 checksum is shown with the download button. On Windows run certutil -hashfile KETAMIN-Installer.exe SHA256 and compare.
