How cases work
- Published odds. The chance of every item is shown above — exactly its weight divided by the case's total.
- The server rolls. The result is decided on our server with a secure random number before any animation plays; the roulette only shows it. Odds are the same for everybody, whatever you spent.
- Bad-luck protection. Every paid case guarantees an Epic or better after a run of openings without one, and a Legendary or better after a longer run.
- Duplicates pay back. An item you already own turns into coins (a free case pays half):
- Open more, pay less. Opening five at once is 5% cheaper, ten at once 10%.
- One free case a day. The Daily Case costs nothing and is ready again 22 hours after you opened it. Open it several days in a row for a streak bonus.
- Limited cases are open only while their event runs; the page shows when the next one starts.
- Cosmetics only. Everything in a case is for looks. Items and coins have no cash value and cannot be traded or sold.
